PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium, which has high lustrous properties, a high color density and an excellent ink absorbency. SOLUTION: This recording medium is obtained by forming a surface layer, which is mainly made of spherical particles having the average particle diameter of primary particles of 1 to 100 nm and each having the refractive index of 1.65 or higher under the condition that the glossiness of the surface of the recording medium according to JIS Z 8741 is set to be 50 or higher when an incident angle is 20 deg. and 65 or higher when an incident angle is 60 deg.. |
