PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium to be recorded by jetting an ink, which has a high pigment ink absorbency, is excellent in the frictional resistance of a pigment ink and has a wide color reproducing range in order to record with the pigment ink. SOLUTION: In the medium to be recorded by jetting with the pigment ink, in which the drops of the pigment ink including at least a coloring material pigment, a high boiling organic solvent, a dispersant, a penetrant and water, are delivered against the surface thereof, the medium to be recorded is formed by providing an ink absorbing layer including an inorganic pigment and a polymer adhesive on a support under the condition that the amount of oil absorption of the inorganic pigment according to JIS K 5101 is 150 ml/100 g or more and its average secondary particle diameter is 3.0 μm or more to 15 μm or less. Further, an ink set including the styrene-(meth)acylate-based water-soluble resin dispersant and the acetylene glycol compound penetrant is employed. |
