PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of satisfactorily manufacturing a high grade multilumen catheter tube satisfied with push-in, torque transfer and follow-up properties at the same time, without crushing the shape of lumina. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the flexible tube comprises, at least, a reinforcing material layer forming step of braiding one or more wire material to be meshed so that angles to the axial direction of the inner tube are changed stepwise or continuously along the axial direction to form a reinforcing layer on the outer surface of an inner tube having an approximately circular outer periphery, with a plurality of lumina opening at both ends in the axial direction without communicating one another, and an outer tube forming step of forming an approximately cylindrical outer tube to be fixed to the outer surface of the core contained inner tube via the reinforcing material layer. In the reinforcing material layer forming step, the wire material is braided in the inner tube in the state of filling the lumina with a liquid material. |
