PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pachinko machine which discharge the correct number of pachinko balls without being affected by power failure. SOLUTION: When a discharge command is outputted to a prize ball controller of a prize ball circuit board 45 from a main controller of a main circuit board 19, the prize ball controller pays out pachinko balls into an upper tray. In this arrangement, when a main power source Vin is effective, the main controller and the prize ball controller detect the same discharge information and in case of power failure, the discharge information of the main controller and that of the prize ball controller 46 are preserved into separate RAMs 65 and 69. As a result, upon the restoration of power failure, the discharge information is read out of one RAM 69 to allow the discharge of the pachinko balls based on the payout information. This enables the paying out of the correct number of pachinko balls without being affected by power failure and moreover, allows simple discovery of fraudulent tampering with the discharge information during power failure simply by checking for the consistency of both the payout information during the restoration of power failure.
