PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a secure and beautiful sealing state even in the high speed operation, make the dropping distance of a material to be packaged small in case of applying for a vertical bagging and filling machine and provide a good sealing state in the high speed operation. SOLUTION: A center sealing device 10 is provided with a pair of sealing mechanisms 16 and 17 to be closed and moved and separated away on both sides across the transfer path of an overlapped end edges of a cylindrical film. Respective sealing mechanisms 16 and 17 are provided with belt units 23 having steel belts 22 wound around follower pulleys 17 and driving pulleys 21 to be separated away in the film transfer direction. Heater blocks 24 having the given length dimension in the film transfer direction are provided between the follower pulleys 17 and the driving pulleys 21. The steel belts 22 in areas clamping the overlapped edge section (f) is heated all over the given length in the film transfer direction by heater blocks 34. |
