<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly treat leaked ammonia. SOLUTION: An ammonia removing system is equipped with water sprinkling equipment for sprinkling water over a place where ammonia leaks, a water collection tank 15 for gathering wastewater from the trough 14 provided around the place where water is sprinkled, the on-off valve 17 provided to the drain passage 16 communicating with the drain trough from the water collection tank 15, a transfer means for transferring aqueous ammonia accumulated in the water gathering tank 15 by closing the on-off valve 17, a detoxifying pit 20 for storing aqueous ammonia transferred by the transfer means and a controller 24 closing the on-off valve 17 on the basis of a signal detecting the leak of ammonia to sprinkle water from the water sprinkling equipment.</p> |
