OXIDATIVE GAS REMOVING AGENT FO REFUSE INCINERATION EXHAUST GAS AND MATERIAL FOR TREATING REFUSE INCINERATION FLY ASH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acidic gas removing agent for refuse incineration exhaust gases which captures fly ash of the characteristic capable of stabilizing heavy metals simply by carrying out simple treatment and a method for treating refuse incineration fly ash which is capable of stabilizing the heavy metals with a simple device without using costly chemicals. SOLUTION: This acidic gas removing agent for the refuse incineration exhaust gaseous is a mixture composed of at least slaked lime powder and powder of sulfate-containing substance and is regulated in a molar ratio of SO4 to CaO quantitatively determined as an alkaline component to a range of CaO:CO4=1:0.008 to 0.4. The method for treating the refuse incineration fly ash consists in adding at least the sulfate-containing substance to the alkaline fly ash to regulate the molar ratio of SO4 to CaO quantitatively determined as the alkaline component to the range of CaO:CO4/CaO>=0.3, then adding water to the mixture, kneading the mixture and heating the kneaded matter.
