PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving state detecting system and a moving state detector for detecting a series of operations for the lying posture of a person to be cared to his/her start of walking by respective moving states. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a moving state detector 10 for detecting a series of movements from the lying posture of the person to be cared to his/her start of long sitting position, upright position, erect position and walking stepwise by respective moving states, a transmitter 20 for transmitting a detected detection signal as a moving state signal, and an output part 30 for receiving the transmitted moving state signal and outputting it as display information or an alarm sound.
