PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of part items and weight for a can storing a coiling sliver in a linearly aligned plurality of columns. SOLUTION: A projection 6a inwardly projects at a boundary of coiling sliver columns A, B, and supports both ends in column direction of coiling sliver columns A, B held in a state of columns, so that there is no inconvenience such as for the coiling sliver columns A, B to fall down in the direction of column alignment. Since a receiving plate 1 is provided astride a plurality of sliver storing spaces P1, P2 formed within the can, it is required only to raise and lower the common (one) receiving plate 1 even in the case there are a plurality of sliver storing spaces P1, P2, thereby decreasing number of part items for the whole can.
