The invention relates to a machine for boring elongate holes in work pieces (15). The machine comprises a support frame (10) with at least one bore spindle (21), which is rotatable by means of drive members (19), and a feed device (12-14, 16) which can move substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the bore spindle. The feed device is designed to receive the work piece (15). The bore spindle (21) is mounted securely in the support frame (10). |
