PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner carrying roller having low hardness and capable of making the change of resistance and volume change small and obtaining an excellent image under a wide environmental condition by making an elastic layer have plural-layer structure provided with a 1st elastic layer consisting of the foaming body of rubber and a 2nd elastic layer consisting of non-foaming rubber and formed on the outer periphery of the 1st layer. SOLUTION: The 1st elastic layer 31 is formed on the outer periphery of a good conductive shaft 2 and the 2nd elastic layer 32 is formed on the layer 31, whereby the elastic layer 3 having the two-layer structure is formed. The layer 31 is formed of a foaming body of rubber having conductivity and the layer 32 is formed of a non-foaming rubber having conductivity. Furthermore, a surface layer 4 including synthetic resin is formed on the layer 32, that means, the layer 3 according to circumstances. By making the conductive elastic layer of two or more layers and forming the layer 31 inside of the foaming body of rubber having conductivity and the layer 32 on the outer periphery of the non-foaming rubber having conductivity, the change of the resistance is restrained against the change of the environmental condition and the excellent image is obtained for a long time. |
