PURPOSE:To prevent the shortage of line pressure beforehand by fixing an intake air amount for setting line pressure to a value detected by an intake air amount detecting means at the time of generation of rotary change, and changing the intake air amount when a load change amount is in a prescribed value or more during gear change. CONSTITUTION:In an automatic transmission 12, intake and exhaust operation of operating oil pressure of a hydraulic actuator 18 for carrying out connecting and opening operation of several kinds of gear change elements in a gear type transmission 16 is controlled by solenoid valves 20, 22, and line pressure (operating oil pressure) is regulated by duty-controlling a solenoid valve 30. When it is judged that gear change operation is carried out in the case where the solenoid valve 30 is controlled by a CPU 36 according to an intake air amount, an intake air amount for setting line pressure is fixed to an amount detected when change of engine rotary speed is generated. When it is judged that the change amount of engine load is in a prescribed value or more during gear change, the intake air amount is changed according to the change amount so as to prevent the shortage of line pressure. |
