PURPOSE: To provide zirconia refractories excellent in corrosion and thermal spalling resistances even in the case of contact with molten glass and having satisfactory resistance to the occurrence of defects such as bubbles and stone. CONSTITUTION: The objective zirconia refractories have >=55wt.% ZrO2 content basing on the amt. of the entire refractories and contain 260wt.% electromelted zirconia granules of 0.044-13mm diameter basing on the amt. of the entire refractories. |
