The invention relates to a method and a device for determining physical variables on saw blades. According to the invention, teeth (12), which have been soldered onto a saw-blade base body (11), are registered by a first camera (14), positioned laterally in relation to the saw-blade base body (11) and a second camera (15), positioned radially in relation to the saw-blade base body (11). The information that is recorded by the cameras (14, 15) is transferred to an evaluation unit (18), where it is processed. The processing results are converted into control and/or adjustment commands to predetermine a new position, or correct a position for a tooth (12) that is to be soldered onto a saw-blade base body (11). The use of the cameras (14, 15) obviates the manual activity of inspecting a solder connection or the seat of a tooth. |
