A portable bone conduction and sound amplifying hearing aid having two sound transmission channels is provided. The hearing aid includes an amplifier for amplifying an electrical sound signal to generate a signal for generating vibration and sound, and a vibration and sound generator for simultaneously generating vibration and sound according to the output of the amplifier, wherein the vibration and sound generator consists of a permanent magnet fixed on a case, a vibrator having a shaft which is axially movable and an enameled copper wire wound around the shaft, the vibrator vibrating due to a magnetic field formed by the signal input from the amplifier, a cap fixed to the shaft of the vibrator, for transmitting vibration to the head, and a sound plate connected to the shaft of the vibrator, for generating sound. The hearing aid simultaneously generates sound and vibration and transmits the sound via a first channel using external ear and middle ear and a second channel using skull, thereby improving the effect of the hearing aid compared to a hearing aid using one sound transmission channel. Also, since the hearing aid is in the form of a headset, wearing of the same is facilitated. |
