A drum (3) has peripheral receptacles (5) which contain individual objects such as disks and rotates in a single sense. The objects are delivered by an electromagnetic mechanism at a delivery zone (7) through a window (14) protected by an interlocked shutter (15). A belt (17) on sprung pulleys (18,19) retains the objects in the receptacles for the lower part of the drum travel.
