The vice for a micro-milling machine has a fixing plate (1) with reservoirs containing a thermo-fusible material which can be rapidly changed between the solid and liquid states. The thermo-fusible material has its surface flush with that of the plate. The plate has a pot (2) of thermo-fusible material, a cooling circuit (3), electrical heating resistances (4) and the reservoir connected to the pot.
