The adjustable support consists of a mast (1) which passes through the roof (3) and can be rotated about its lengthwise axis. The upper, external end (4') of the mast has a pivoted supporting arm (5) for the panel's rigid supporting structure (2'). The position of the panel (2) can be adjusted from inside the vehicle by a mechanism (7') such as a rod or chain inside the hollow shaft, and a handle (7) or motorised drive connected to it. An indicator (8) shows the power output of the panel during use.
