<p>The filter screen, e.g. for a centrifugal or centripetal flow, is made from a series of coaxial metal rings (A) set at intervals along the axis of the cylindrical screen and connected by lengthwise rods (F). Each ring has an annular core (AM) and a thinner crown (CO) connected to it by at least one shoulder (EP1, EP2). The crown has notches for equally spaced lengthwise rods (F) which are welded in place by subjecting the shoulders to a source of heat at sufficient temperature.</p> |
