Self-floating earthmoving machine

The machine (10) used for dredging water beds, is rendered floatable by two movable side floats (22) fixed on the chassis (14) by lift units (40,41), each one having retractable support legs (56,58) controlled by jacks and supporting, once deployed, on the bottom of the lake bed. The machine is essentially a hydraulic earth shovel on tires (16) with a boom (32) on a turret (12) having a bucket (36).
