Steering wheel with clamping hub

The clamping screw (8) secures the two hub sections (6,7) of the steering wheel. It has a thread extending over its whole length, and a stop (9) rigidly fitted on the thread in the center section. A spring plate (10) is attached to the hub and has a recess (11) defined by the core diameter of the clamping screw and encompassing the screw in the region between the head (12) and stop. The recess serves as a torsionally fixed, axially elastical deformable holder for the screw.
