The invention relates to a lamp with a flat and longitudinal lamp housing (1) and at least one fluorescent lamp (2) which extends in the longitudinal direction. A first light distribution device (3) extends from the side of said fluorescent lamp (2). Light exits downwards from said light distribution device (3). The aim of the invention is to improve said lamp in such a way that the light is emitted onto a useful area with improved effectiveness. To this end, the first light distribution device (3) is provided with a hollow chamber (4, 5) that extends crosswise in relation to the longitudinal direction. The underside of said chamber (4, 5) is formed by at least one plate-like light distribution element (6, 7). Light emerges from said light distribution element (6, 7) through an opening of the housing (8, 9) in a downward direction. A second light distribution device (10) is provided underneath the fluorescent lamp (2). Light is directed in a downward direction through an opening of the housing (11) by means of said second light distribution device (10). The light is distributed in a directed and non-dazzling manner. |
