<p>A module or dispenser (30) for dispensing at least one liquid filament onto a moving substrate includes a nozzle body (52) having a liquid supply port, a liquid discharge portion or end, and a liquid discharge passage (60) having an orifice in fluid communication with the liquid supply port (82,84,86). The liquid discharge passage (60) extends along an axis and the opening (60a) is shaped asymmetrically about the axis to provide a controlled directional movement of the liquid filament in a desired direction.
