APPARATUS FOR LIFTING MANHOLE COVER

PURPOSE: A lifting apparatus of a manhole cover is provided to quickly and safety operate by preventing the injury of an operator from the opening and the closing of the manhole cover and to lift, fall and carry the manhole cover mechanically. CONSTITUTION: A driving portion of a boom cylinder containing a motor is installed on frames(11,12). The upper part of a chain is fixed in the upper part of a boom of the driving portion. A stopper is formed in the lower part of the frame to prevent the movement of a manhole cover(19). A bracket is fixed in the upper part of the boom. A guide structure is installed in the upper part of the driving portion. The bracket is slid through the guide structure. Thereby, the manhole cover is opened and closed by a lifting apparatus. Therefore, the working efficiency is improved and the safety accidents are prevented.
