The mounting arm for a monitor for surgical operations has an arm (2) which can pivot around a base (3) and a swivelling socket on which the monitor is mounted. The arm is connected to the base by a self-locking gas spring (5). A release handle (15) rotates a disk (13) which carries a latch (14). This moves a slide (16) in guides (17) so that it operates a lever (9) which releases the locking bolt (7) on the gas spring. |
