SOLUTION: A reference optical system illuminates a micro-zone in a reflection surface of a reference reflection object 2000 by a light flux from a first light source 100, it receives light of the light flux reflected from the reference reflection object 2000 to return, a first converting member 400 converts the reflection light flux received by a measurement optical system and/or the reference optical system into plural beams, a first light receiving part 510 receives plural light fluxes converted by the converting member 400, a change-over part alternately introduces the light fluxes of the measurement optical system and the reference optical system to the first light receiving part 510, and an operation control part determines optical characteristics of a subject eye 1000 to be examined based on a received position of the light flux from the measurement optical system and a received position of the light flux from the reference optical system obtained by the first light receiving part 510.
