PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an acceptive layer for thermal transfer having easy dyeing of a sublimable dye and a heat fusible ink and an excellent glossiness on a support by forming the support having an excellent fusion bonding resistance and moldability and made of a polyester resin not substantially containing a chlorine atom. SOLUTION: A medium to be recorded for thermal transfer recording comprises an active energy beam curable composition coating layer cured by emitting the active energy beam thereto and provided on at least one surface of the support containing a polyester resin having a softening point of 50 to 100 deg.C as a main component. In this case, the polyester resin is obtained by polycondensating an ethylene glycol, a 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol and a terephthalic acid. |
