SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing an ink jet head where a plurality of nozzles are machined simultaneously in a nozzle plate 20 using a laser beam, machining is performed while satisfying a relation that the total number of nozzles being machined in one sheet of nozzle plate 20 is not smaller than the number of required nozzles.
