METAL CAN LID MATERIAL AND METAL CAN PACKAGE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid material suitable for a metal can having an upper end of a barrel which is integrally molded like a flange and a metal can package using the lid material. SOLUTION: The lid material 1 to be used for the metal can having the upper end of the barrel which is integrally molded like a flange comprises a base layer 2 such as an aluminum foil or paper, a synthetic resin layer 3 having cushioning properties provided thereon, and a heat-sealing layer 4 provided on an external surface of the layer 3 wherein the layer 4 includes 50 wt.% or more of at least one kind selected among an acid modified polypropylene resin, an acid modified polyethylene resin and a resin comprising an ethylene and a propylene copolymer which are acid-modified. The lid material 1 is heat-sealed to an inward flange provided on an opening of the metal can to form the package.
