PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for highly expressing a foreign protein by which the foreign protein translated from an extraneous gene can be expressed and produced in good efficiency, and further to provide a high expression vector. SOLUTION: This expression vector is obtained by arranging a first cistron as a gene unit required for the transcription and expression of a previously prescribed protein between a promoter region for initiating the transcription of the extraneous gene, and the initiation codon of the extraneous gene when transducing the extraneous gene encoding the foreign protein to an expression vector, so that the base sequence of a part of the initiation codon of the extraneous gene encoding the foreign protein may overlap with the base sequence of a part of the stop codon of the first cistron. |
