<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling method of a hot-rolled steel strip by which sheet crown is controlled with high accuracy while suppressing the generation of defective flatness when rolling the rear end part of a material to be rolled. SOLUTION: A heating device with which the rear end part of the material to be rolled is heated is provided between a roughing mill and a finishing mill, the sheet crown in the tip part of a hot-rolled steel strip is measured on the outlet side of the finishing mill and also the temperature difference between the tip part and the rear end part of the material to be rolled on the inlet side of the finishing mill is found. The sheet-crown difference between the tip part and the rear end part on the outlet side of the finishing mill is determined from that temperature difference, the sheet crown on the outlet side of the finishing mill is predicted from the difference between the measured value of the sheet crown and the sheet-crown difference, and the rear end part is heated with the heating device so that the predicted value of the sheet crown coincides with the target value of the sheet crown.</p> |
