<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste volume reduction treating apparatus capable of efficiently recovering a waste by volume-reducing treatment. SOLUTION: A volume-reducing tank 2 for storing a waste, a stirrer 19 equipped with a stirring vane 20 in the volume-reducing tank 2, and an electric heater 17 for heating the volume reducing tank 2 are provided. Further, a structure is provided that a crusher 6 for crush treating the waste is arranged on a side part of the volume-reducing tank 2, the crusher 6 is connected to the volume-reducing tank 2 by a tubular chute 16, and the crushing treated waste is pushed into the volume-reducing tank 2 while it is filled in the chute 16 by a crushing edge 10 of the crusher 6. Thereby, an offensive smell in the volume-reducing tank 2 is prevented from leaking outside through the chute 16. After crushing the waste by the crusher 6, it is pushed out to the volume- reducing tank 2 through the chute 16, and the volume is reduced by an electric heater 17 while it is stirring by the stirrer 19.</p> |
