PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite material wherein a hydrophilic functional layer containing a photocatalytic substance can be thinly formed without lowering photocatalytic properties and anti-fogging properties and the light interfering action of layer is lowered. SOLUTION: A transparent metal membrane 24 is formed on the surface of a light pervious sheetlike member 22, and the hydrophilic functional layer 26 containing the photocatalytic substance is provided on the transparent metal membrane 24. The hydrophilic functional layer 26 containing the photocatalytic substance is constituted of a laminate formed by providing a photocatalytic layer 28 containing the photocatalytic substance, and a hydrophilic layer 30 containing a hydrophilic substance on the transparent metal membrane 24 in this order. |
