PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily producing a longer rubber mat efficiently layable in the small number of sheets even on a wide area. SOLUTION: This method for producing a longer rubber mat 100 with a thickness of 10 mm comprises the following steps: a rubber product such as waste tires is ground into rubber powder 0.5-5 mm in particle size; 100 kg of the rubber powder is blended with 15 kg of an one-part moisture-curable urethane resin using an agitating mixer for about 10 min to obtain a rubber compound, which is then packed in a columnar mold and left to stand at room temperature for about 24 h to effect hardening; the rubber compound thus hardened is left to stand and then the mold is disassembled, thereby obtaining a columnar rubber molded form 10 as the material for the aimed longer rubber mat; subsequently, the surface layer of the rubber molded form 10 is continuously cut out along its outer circumference by peeling operation.
