PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage body for a vehicle capable of closing a cover body during storing storage materials. SOLUTION: This storage body for the vehicle is provided with a retainer 10 having an opening opened upward, the cover body 20 rotatably fitted to the opening of the retainer 10, a tray 30 capable of raising/lowering relative to the retainer 10 in the retainer 10, a spring 40 energizing the tray 30 upward, a link 50 prevented from engaged with the cover body 20, when the cover body 20 is positioned between the closed position and the opened position, and engaged with the cover body 20, when the cover body 20 is further rotationally moved from the opened position, and a lock 60 provided in the link 50, engaged with the tray 30 or a member 31a connected to the tray, when the tray 30 is positioned in the bottom end position, and holds the tray 30 in the bottom end position.
