PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous form cutter which can cut even a thick continuous form by operating a cutter surely through a small scale drive means. SOLUTION: Rotation of a cutter drive bar 6 for retracting a cutter 7 from a cutting position is regulated by means of a pin 5. The pin 5 moves along an arcuate guide groove 94 and when the cutter 7 is at the cutting position, movement of the pin 5 in the direction determined through rotation of the cutter drive bar 6 is limited by a guide groove 94. Consequently, reaction to the cutter 7 can be eliminated without imposing a load to the plunger 2.
