PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for drying a resin for realizing a uniformity of resin drying. SOLUTION: The apparatus for drying the resin comprises a plurality of heater units (520, 521-52N, 531-53N, 541-54N) installed as means for drying particulate, powder or pellet-like resin (resin pellet 2). In this case, approaching distances between radiating surfaces of the respective units are set to the same or substantially the same. Thus, transfer heats from the units to the resin are made uniform, and hence the uniformity of the resin drying is realized.
