PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating apparatus for a toilet seat superior in readiness of cleaning by facilitating the detachment and attachment of the toilet seat. SOLUTION: By electrically connecting an electrode 11b wired on the front of a protruding part 11a of a casing (body) 11, an electrode 14d wired on a supporting cover 14b, and an electrode 12b wired on a toilet seat 12 with each other, a controller in the body, the heater of the toilet seat and a thermal sensor are also electrically connected. When the toilet seat is removed from the body, the electrical connection is automatically cut off and the detachment of the toilet seat becomes very easy, facilitating the cleaning of the toilet seat.
