PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle backing aiding device during parking performing steering support guide display providing a driver with an easy grasp of steering timing, a steering amount, and a backing up amount during parking. SOLUTION: When a vehicle starts to turn, a rotational speed difference of right and left wheels is detected by a right and left wheel rotational speed difference detecting means 120, it is recognized that the vehicle has started to turn when the rotational speed difference becomes a predetermined value or more, and angular velocities detected by a yaw rate sensor 118 from the start of the turn are added as a yaw angle. When the vehicle stops and a shift lever 5 is operated into a reverse position, the yaw angle at that time is detected as a turning angle from the start of the turn. An image processing device 8 obliquely displays a tandem guide line and a vehicle space mark on an image plane of a monitor 4 on the basis of this turning angle. |
