PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control device for a load capable of suppressing the skew effectively using a simple configuration without using any high-cost device, suppressing the drop of the loading/unloading efficiency, and reducing the burden of the operator. SOLUTION: The vibration control device for a crane is equipped with a trolley 11 capable of making horizontal movement on the crane body, a spreader 18 and the load 10 hung down at the trolley 11 by wire ropes 23, 24, 25, 26, and a skew cylinder 30 to vary the tension of each wire rope, wherein the arrangement further includes tension sensors 51a, 51b, 51c, 51d to sense the rope tensions, distance sensors 52a and 52b to sense the distance from the trolley 11 to spreader 18, a skew angle calculator to calculatthe skew angleθof the load 10, and a control device 54 to control the skew cylinder 30.
