PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cutting phenomena with edge faces from developing or a stencil base material from being flawed with the edge of the peripheral edge faces of a printing paper at printing. SOLUTION: In the stencil printing equipment equipped with a plate cylinder, which is cylindrically made of an ink permeable peripheral wall and made rotatable about the axis line of itself, on the inner peripheral surface of the peripheral wall of which an ink is supplied, on the outer peripheral surface of the peripheral wall of which an engraved stencil base paper is wound, and a press roller, which is held by a rotary shaft parallel to the axis line of the plate cylinder and shifts so as to press a printing paper against the stencil base paper or the outer peripheral surface of the plate cylinder, the press roller is so constituted as to press only the effective printing surface width except the peripheral edges of the printing paper.
