PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink ribbon cartridge containing a ribbon spray combining a ribbon spray body and an inner and arranged to enhance productivity easily. SOLUTION: The inventive ribbon spool body 42 has the same arrangement as a conventional ribbon spool body except that guide grooves 54 receiving the protrusions 46 of an inner 44 are provided in the inner wall at the hollow section 52 of a spool body 20. The guide grooves 54 are arranged, at a constant angular interval of 90 deg., on the inner wall at the hollow section 52 of the spool body 20 in the form of four grooves having square cross-section extending in the longitudinal direction and receiving the protrusions 46 of the inner 44. When a ribbon spool 40 is manufactured by inserting the inner 40 into a spool body 42, the guide grooves 54 guide insertion of the inner 44 through the protrusions 46.
