PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bath water suction pump which can widely shorten self-priming time of a self-priming pump to reduce washing time and, further, contribute to energy saving. SOLUTION: A priming water port 33 connected with a tap water supply part via an electromagnetic valve is equipped on the suction side of the pump casing 22 of a self-priming pump 21. Tap water is jetted out through the priming water port 33 to the suction part 26 upon starting of the self-priming pump 21 to widely shorten the time required for self-priming.
