PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nondestructive testing method capable of properly and quickly deciding whether or not a welding is properly performed to obtain a required weld strength nondestructively. SOLUTION: The nondestructive testing method for a projection welding comprises at least one of a first deciding process in which the decision is made by a total valueΣV of voltage data from the beginning of electrification up to a predetermined time, a second deciding process in which the decision is made by the arriving time Tvmax of the maximum voltage, which is a time interval from the beginning of electrification up to a time showing the maximum voltage, a third deciding process in which the decision is made by the prescribed displacement arrival time TS from the beginning of electrification up to a time showing a prescribed inter-electrode displacement, a fourth deciding process in which the decision is made by the maximum displacement arrival time THm from the beginning of electrification up to a time when the inter- electrode displacement becomes the maximum value, and a fifth deciding processes in which the decision is made by a mean electric current which is the mean value of the electric current flowing from the beginning of electrification up to a time when the welding is terminated, In the method, the fifth deciding process is made executable.
