PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage device capable of simply regenerating an adsorbent of a filter part without moving the adsorbent to another place in the hydrogen storage device provided with the filter part for adsorbing impurities in hydrogen. SOLUTION: The hydrogen storage device is provided with a hydrogen storage vessel 10, in which a hydrogen storing material 10b is incorporated, and further the filter part 11 for removing the impurities contained in stored hydrogen. As a result, the impurities are removed from hydrogen stored in the hydrogen storage vessel 10 and the poisoning of the hydrogen storing material 10b is prevented. The filter part 11 can be provided in any of the outside or the inside of the hydrogen storage vessel. An adsorbent for adsorbing the impurities can be used in the filter part 11. A heating means 15 for accelerating the releasing of the impurities adsorbed in the filter part 11 is provided in the filter part 11 and the filter part 11 is regenerated while in use.
