A method of estimating a motor torque constant including the steps of measuring a current and a speed of motor at sampling time during rotating of the motor and calculating the motor torque constant Kt* by a multiplicity of the measured current values and speed values. Also, the motor torque constant is calculated by the formulawhere i(k) and v(k) respectively indicate the current and the speed of the motor at a sampling time "k', and N indicates a natural number greater than 1.
