PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for supplying a lithographic printing plate capable of preventing a conveying fault by preventing a damage of a non-image forming surface at a low cost when the printing plate is supplied to an exposure unit and the lithographic printing plate. SOLUTION: The non-image forming surface of the lithographic printing plate 10 is anodized to form an anodized film 16. An anodized film amount is increased in an area S near at least one side of the plate 10 more than that of the other part. The side near the part having more anodized film amount is supplied ahead onto a plate board 32 of an exposure part 24, thereby preventing a damage of the non-image forming surface. Since it is not necessary to form a predetermined amount of the anodized film on the overall non-image forming surface, its cost is reduced.
