PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To curtail a cycle by combining a process for boring the core trimming holes of a weather strip and a process for joining the core trimming holes as a series of processes with time intervals reduced. SOLUTION: A slide piece 19 is brought down after a process in which the mold molding part 1 of the weather strip 8 is resin-cooled in a mold 9, and the slit-shaped core trimming holes 6 are formed by ejecting a cutter blade 22 automatically toward the back side of a hollow seal part 4 having a core 4. The cutter blade 22 is always heated to melt the cut surfaces of the core trimming holes 6. After a movable piece 11 is retracted and the core 5 is extracted, and immediately the cut surfaces 8b, 8b of the core trimming holes 6 are welded together by handwork. |
