ANALYTICAL METHOD FOR HEMATOPOIETIC PRECURSOR/STEM CELL KINETICS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analytical method for hematopoietic precursor/stem cell kinetics which shows stable reproducibility. SOLUTION: This analytical method is a method for analyzing the cell kinetics in the individual of hematopoietic stem cell and is carried out by continuously administrating bromodeoxyuridine to an animal to label the cell in a fraction at K phase in the cell cycle, measuring a colony count by means of hematopoietic stem cell colony formation after the removal of the labeled cell by near-ultraviolet ray irradiation and detecting the ratio of the cell fraction in comparison with near-ultraviolet ray non-irradiation groups.
