PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a game machine which executes back up only at need. SOLUTION: When an NMI signal inputted into the CPU 112 from an energizing monitoring circuit 82, i.e., when energizing from outside is stagnated, the CPU 112 judges whether backing up of the game condition is required or not. If backing up of the game condition is required, power is supplied from a capacitor 84 for auxiliary power supply to a RAM 116 via a second switch 104 to back up. On the other hand, if backing up is not required, the power supply from the capacitor 84 for auxiliary power supply to the RAM 116 is controlled to stagnate to make backing up undone.
